All credit card statements printed from the mainframe system can be converted and stored in the DMS. The data can be indexed by any alphanumeric item, such as account number, cardholder name, statement amount etc., enabling data stored on the DMS to be instantly and easily available to the financial institution’s customer service department. They can quickly find the credit card statement in question, answer cardholder questions on the spot, and if necessary print it out, fax or e-mail it to cardholders the same time. This increases quality of customer service and productivity considerably. Huge amount of data are compressed and stored on On-line, Near-Line or Off-line based on document aging procedure.
